Should the valve cover spew exhuast?, im kinda new to this so im in need of help, i bought a breather kit and replaced the lines from the throttle body and isc to the intake tube. S othis is all happening and my car is stalling when i begin to idle, it gets down to about 600 rpm's and drops till it stalls, in addition to that, the check engine light is on but it turns off at around 2000 rpms and doesnt appear again untill i drop below that. Any help will be much appreciated :1zhelp:

Did you put a breather on the ISC? If so don't do that. The ISC must suck metered air, or it will idle like schyte. Actually, It will idle wierd. I've had it run great with a breather one day, and the n suck another day. So run a nice tube from the isc to the accordian pipe.

About the "spewing exaust" That is blowby. Blowby is bad. PCV stands for positive crankcase ventilation. The "positive" means that in order for it to work right, something has to suck on the block. So breathers on the valve covers are a bad idea. The throttle body has a check valve on it to apply a small amount of vaccum to the crankcase. The crankcase is also connected to the accordian pipe, so when the motor is boosting, the accordian pipe applies a light amount of vaccum to the crankcase. All of the vaccum in the crankcase improves ring seal and reduces blowby. If the valve covers are smoking out the breathers badly then you would benefit from new rings. However routing the factory pcv system back in would reduce the blowby a tad, and would be much more pleasant in general. At least with the factory pcv setup the oil is stored in your intercooler, where it can be removed and disposed of, rather than spewed all over your engine compartment.
