Vacuum line q's

What are the lines that connect through the bracket for the MAF? Do they need to be hooked up? What about the one connecting to the plastic intake tube closer to the manifold?
I've tried searching, but I haven't found anything and I'm tired.

1) The engine doesn't have a MAF. Volumetric flow meter.

2) They're for the EVAP system. Feeds stored fuel vapor from the charcoal cannister to the throttle body. Emissions stuff.

3) Plastic intake tube?

Smart guys, those Toyota engineers. The cars are old, but the reasons haven't gone anywhere. Yes, they need to be hooked up.

I broke off the green nipple that is attached to the engine end of that vacuum line. Is it alright to drive it without that one hooked up?

Depends if you're one of the many self centered assholes here who doesn't care about putting crap in the air we all breathe. If you're asking whether the engine will run without it the answer is yes. You'll need to cap the port on the throttle body though...

I'm just one of the dirt poor assholes that is trying to get by. Thanks for the advice. I'll fix it when I can. I do care about the environment so I will fix it when I can.
