I'm thinking about doing that whole Lexus AFM/Injector thing, but I'm curious if throwing the AFM on by itself (Without doing the injectors or tuning) will be beneficial or detrimental.

If I snagged one off eBay or a friend, should I throw it on right away or just wait until I get everything?

Motor is stock and completely rebuilt including turbo, 3" turbo back and a K&N intake.

Thanks guys.

Idk if you were talkin to the OP, but my sensor is not within spec, thus not workin. So will be fine if I use a lexus afm with it's sensor?

There ya go.

And just so you know nearly all the Karman sensors I've tested that were claimed to be "out of spec" had nothing wrong with them. Either the person measured the IAT portion or, when testing the Karman portion, failed to account for meter polarity like the TSRM specifies.

I did test it Like it says in tsrm. My car has a code 31. And when I tested the ohms of the 2 prongs that we are supposed to check, it's supposed to be 2,000 - 3,000 ohms, and mine read 6.4.

So I'm pretty sure, with at least my problem, Its out of spec.
