Anyone have a picture of the MkIV ( US Spec) 550 injectors?

I am trying to compare to ones in mine, but I need to make sure they are 550's and not 440's.

I am actually looking for the color photo if possible. I know they are supposed to be purple but how purple is it? :icon_conf

Mine looks more light Bluish...ehhh weired..

Thanks in advance guys..

PS: Ive seen a picture but it was from a New Zealand site..so I am not sure.

Read what section you're in before posting ;). This is the 1JZ section.

2JZ-GTE injectors are very nice to use in a 1JZ-GTE ;).

Thanks Jeff,
I got the car with the injectors on it, but it does not run right at all. I needed to make sure they were the MkIV 550cc, and not something else. Never seen them in person before hence request for a color chart. maybe i'll take some pictures, but one thing for sure, they are of a very light blue color on my car.
I am reverting back to the 380's for now, get the car running properly and then upgrade.
I also need to know how to unwire the resistors. Do I just desolder the wires and connect the like colors??
Not sure, some can help me out.
I am making it stock injectors.

The MkIV US Spec are a mellow purple color, like lavender.
See attached for the tops of 550s in a fuel rail.

Not sure, but the J-Spec 440cc high impedance injectors from the MkIV might be a light green.

Why all of a sudden the 1jz thread becoming like the 7m threads. Before you do any upgrading to your 1j make sure it will run first after doing the swap. Then, do your home work regarding the stuff your about to put in (upgrade).
550cc is much too big and you will need some kind of a fuel management.

If you want to use stock injectors, simply unplug the resistor pack and connect all the terminals of the connector with wire/spade connectors.

That way you can retain the ability to go 550s later.

Well, if you read earlier, that is exactly what I am trying to do. I did not do any upgrades myself, the previous owner did.
I am already aware that 550 is too big, and possibly overkill. I am merely trying to get the questions I have , answered, and so far only Drunk Medic ,935 ,and Jeff has actually answered the question I am askling in this post ( What is the color of the MkIV Injectors)

Everyone else is telling me what this thread is all about. ?????

If you do not have an answer, you don't have to type a paragraph telling me how this post is like a 7m post.

I genuinely do not know anything about 1jz yet, and I thought this is the place to learn about it.

I do thank you for your previous answers in my couple of other threads though. They were definitely helpful.

HHmm.maybe I am mistaking the blue for the Lavender? Thanks for the pictures, but in those pictures i can clearly make out the injector color.

That would be awesome if I could do that.

Now how do I connect the connector with the injector wires attached to it?

This is reversing something i did not do, so here goes the questions lol

Any other info would be awesome.
I know at the moment there are 2 injectors per one resistor wire and a common ground. Whcih wires do i connect with the spade connectors? Do I just cut off the same colored wires and put them together??
Or will this burn up anything if I do that?

Thanks for the help man.

It's hard to describe, but i assume that you have a connector plug that goes to the resistor pack.

Unpluge the resistor pack, and you will see 3 female pins. Simply connect all 3 female pins by using space connectors along with wire so that all the wires touch all of the 3 pins. Tape it up an done!

Thank you 935.

I was actually able to figure it out by looking at the diagrams.
From what I have read, my injectors are wired in a wrong sequence and I will try to fix that first. Not sure if that what is causing all this problems.

I'll keep this updated.
