I am planning on pulling my engine over winter break to do valve stem seal and replace other gasket and such and I am thinking of getting the walbro 255. How do you know if you actually got a walbro and not some cheap stuff. I only have 4 weeks max to work on the project and shove the engine back in b4 I have to go back to school. I know 935Motorsports sell them but I am not taking the risk on the long turn around time with 935Motorrsports like the last time I ordered my TT harness. So, anyway to tell if you get a walbro or not?

4 weeks max with engine out.

you are going to be hardpressed. Unfortunatly the walbro does not have any distinctive markings to tell you it is a 255 or a 255HPHV pump.
