Hey quick I have a 91 but some of the upgrades I have done you can definitley do.

Blaster Coil. Walbro fuel pump. Carbon Fiber Hood. New shocks and springs.
I went with eibach and tokico. Your entire air intake can be ported and polished by you yourself if you have the tools. MSD wires. Denso Iridium plugs. You should be able to do all of these.

Umm...Koni yellows...Kaaaa ennd Ennn (K&N ) filter, ummm oh... not for performance, but I have a 5cyl Audi muffler that's some good shit compared with my old thoroughly holed muffler
