Okay I searched but I couldn't find a definitive answer on this.

If I go to an upgraded t04e ct26 60 trim and am still running on stock fuel and afm will the car lean out?

If I throw in na intake cams with stock fuel and afm, will the car lean out also?

If I do both mentioned above, will the car lean out?

I REALLY dout it, the stock computer does a good job of keeping the mixture extra rich and the cams you dont have to worry about.

basically, all the N/A INTAKE cam does is move the powerband around. you'll have more low end grunt, but it'll start to stifle your motor in the upper RPM, especially when you start pushing more power. the N/A intake cam has more duration, but less lift. the cam won't make you run lean, but i wouldn't run an upgraded turbo on stock fuel.

the understanding i have ( and i could be wrong) is that you only want to use the n/a's exaust cam.

like i said, i could be wrong. all that on a stock fuel system, i wouldnt. get a better fuel pump and diffrent injectors. then you have to get a wideband and a fuel controler.

This is my question really:

Will using NA intake cam alone be enough to cause a lean condition on a stock fuel and afm?

Will using an upgraded turbo alone be enough to cause a lean condition on a stock fuel and afm?

Will using both an NA intake cam and an upgraded turbo be enough to cause a lean condition on a stock fuel and afm?

the upgraded turbo shouldn't make you run lean, no, not unless you're running more boost than your fuel system can handle. Only problem with that is that using the stock AFM you will hit fuel cut before you run lean. A bigger turbo will be useless without fuel and electronics upgrades

Neither of those things will make your car run lean without some help from another direction.

I run an upgraded turbo - either a 60-1 or the 62-1, I still haven't measured it - it's going to well over 10psi and my AF ration at WOT is still below 10:1.

The cam won't affect AF ratio at all.

Now if you added a MAFT or a FCD or something, and pushed the limit a lot higher, you'd likely have problems. But that's another story entirely.

Now there's an answer I'm lookin for!
