Hey guys,

I thought I'd come here and ask if anyone has any good (or bad) experiences with HIPerformance and their silicone hose kits?

I've finally fixed my boost leaks and now have a vacuum leak or 2 (realizing the toll my jdm engine took during its shelf time). I knew I wanted to get colored vac lines eventually and I found myself looking at a bunch of old looking lines under the hood so I just bit the bullet and ordered a set from that website.
I order the 7mgte purple silicone hose kit, was $99 plus $30 shipping to Canada (~$150 CAD total)

If no one has any experiences or I missed a thread on this then never mind, but if anyone's interested I put up some follow-up pics when I receive them.

Now comes the waiting game

** UPDATE 1:
So much to my surprise, I came home to this box today

Opened it up and found (kind of wishing it was a darker purple)

Honestly it looks like someone put it together at their house (ziplock baggies, permanent marker writing) but that being said it all looks good, came with my very own cigar cutter!(well not really, its a hose cutter but close enough:nono:)

The instructions look clear enough, was also given a small baggie of purple lube ( they say to use it or it'll be a major PITA to get on and worse to get off) they claim an UNCLAMPED hose of theirs can hold 50 psi without leaking or popping off.

Hopefully I'll get to installing these ASAP and I'll post back here with results

***UPDATE 2***

Alrighty SO, I took a stab a putting them all on today, Was easy, instructions were useless (who needs instructions to replace hoses right?) but seriously, the diagrams they give you are the same you can find all over the internet. Gotta use some common sense as to which thickness of hose goes where. I did not replace all the lines yet as some I couldn't reach without moving things out of the way.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Quality seems great, had some good stretch and didn't feel like they would collapse under vacuum
Lots of the smallest diameter hose (average vacuum line)
Cons:
the color, not exactly purple, in fact, it's pink. not really even close to the picture, now I just kinda of said WTV, couldn't be bothered to send them back so I just used them, but if I were to re-purchase silicone hoses again I wouldn't get purple from there
Not enough of the largest diameter. I barely got enough of the largest diameter, in fact I am skipping out on a hose or 2 because you only receive <2 feet of the largest diameter

And now, the before and after pics

AFTER

P.S. you may notice I didn't even replace the largest hoses going to my intake, this is because I have ordered a new intake and there is so little of that diameter that I have to cut to the exact measurement and not leave any extra for safety.

These look similar to the kits you find on ebay from china. If they are the same company you'll be waiting a while for shipping but it's hard to beat that price and if you're looking for colorful options I think you got the right one as well.

I've been thinking about this sort of upgrade for my 87, please post on your experiences with the quality, instructions and install!

Upon further inspection this company is located in the US! OK to be exact! Looks like you won't be waiting nearly as long as I thought.
