so yesterday i pull the head and i was expecting to see carnage, but everything looked fine. i had a slight leak under heavy boost and that is why i pulled the head. Some of the middle studs felt a bit loose when i cracked them loose. i bet i could have done a retorque and would have been fine. the HG looked fine. no cracks, etc.. however some of the viton was missing around the cylinders.
both the block and head were still very smooth from the machining i had done 5000 miles ago. So i reinstalled another cometic and i coated both sides of it with the goog ole brake quiet.
I'll have her put back together today and see if she is holding.
