Update: Did a COLD compression test, 1,2,3,4,6 where 150-155psi. #5 was 180-185, why would it be higher? Stuck valve till it warms up? Would that explain the "miss sound" the first few seconds? Also here is a video I took today of the exhaust. Dead cold start, hasnt been started in about 3 1/2 days. No smoke in the begining, wouldn't it smoke right off the bat if it was bhg? Hope the video helps and the new update.

Previous and still accurate description of problem:

This is alot of info hoping someone can help me figure something out. Okay so recently my car has been burning/using coolant. I have a 7MGTE rebuilt everything basically, even a reman head. I used a 3 layer metal headgasket with ARP bolts. 10,000 miles later on the new motor, I'm having the following issue. My car burns coolant when I mostly first start it, or rev it pretty high you smell it a little bit, not noticeable at idle or under regular driving. So like any Supra owner, I did a cylinder pressure test after its been running so consider this a WARM test. 1 & 6 had 180psi, and 2-5 had 185psi according to my friends pressure tester. Now with a different pressure tester about 3-4 months ago, I tested it and it was 145psi across the board, so it got higher? So since my turbo is the oldest thing on my motor, friends told me my turbo could be using coolant. So to test, I by-passed the coolant line to the turbo and looped it so it isn't getting any for testing purposes. Needless to say, I still smell coolant even after driving say 30 miles total, so I'm going to put it back the way it was since I guess its not using coolant. I am however pretty sure my turbo is using oil, but my oil level never goes down which scares me cuz I thought the turbo was putting coolant into my oil. Both my anti freeze and oil look 100% normal with no trace of mixing in either fluid. I took off my upper intake tube and theres a trail of oil running thru it, which also recently got worse, I guess the turbo is using more oil. Keep in mind my turbo came off a donor car with 230k so I have no idea of the mileage on it. Someone told me I need a catch can, which I will do soon. Another major problem is when I took the plugs out for the pressure test, 4 outta 6 where covered in oil. And because of that, my car misfires when I first start it either from a cold start, or after having it off for 3-5+ mins and I gotta rev it up to like 2k till it fires on all cylinders again. The valve covers seem to be not leaking into the valley, as the valley seems very dry and I recently did new valve cover gaskets when I checked the headbolts for retourqe since it was a new head. After rev it and clear out the oil on the plugs it idles PERFECTLY at 650 RPMs and drives normally. My car never over heated, nor does it now. It runs at 185 with a 195 thermostat, nice and cold. Now if the turbo was using coolant, it woulda stopped burning it when I looped the line so it didnt get any, yet I still smell coolant and my pressure in my cylinders seems okay. I'm so confused and I'm looking for any help possible because I put so much time and money into this car I would hate to get rid of it for something stupid and I love driving it and it's my only car. I will try almost any legit idea. Also feel free to ask me any questions to help you out to further diagnose my problem. Thank you so much for reading and enjoy your Supra!

oil on plugs could be your valve stem seals. have you tried seeing if you have any coolant puddles under our car before you start it (in the morning after it sits overnight would be the best time to check) if your smelling it in the engine bay you have a leak somewere

Does your coolant level drop any in the radiator? If your losing coolant like you say your car should be over heating. Also if your going off your stock temp gauge it could be incorrect. As for the oil on the spark plugs it could be valve seals leaking down when the car is off causing some oil to build up in the cylinders. This can cause the car to run bad when you go to start it up again until the oil burns off.

you might have a pin hole in a hose that squirts in low pressure and high pressure. happened to my dads truck it was strange. anways if your smelling it from the engine bay and not from your exhaust then 80% sure you have a leak and not a bhg. but make sure you maintain your fluid levels or youll soon develope one

Car uses coolant and I always put in some, it doesnt use alot but I keep it topped off. Smell of antifreeze is only coming from exhaust now, not engine bay. My valve seals where replaced, could they be worn out after 10k miles already? No major visible leaks under car. And my car has a aftermarket temp gauge, not stock.

What about those coolant lines behind the exhaust manifold? They are very hard to see but there is some hardlines back there. Have you done a coolant system pressure check? Also (probly not your problem) the heater core is often overlooked because it's buried so deep in the dash. But it too is part of the coolant system.

its happened to other members were they got cheap seals and they go out after several thousand miles or sometimes they are improperly installed. is there oil on the spark plug galley covers?

Head and block where both cut. Valve seals where installed by professional so I doubt theyre worn out. There is no coolant leaks or smell under the hood. No oil in spark plug alley.

Buy some UV dye for the coolant. It makes it glow radioactive green and leaks are very easy to spot. Then take a good look at every hose. Don't forget the two under the intake manifold. Also check underneath the water pump.

I found my phantom coolant leak by doing a leak down test. I pressured the coolant system and first heard it, then saw it dripping. It was the coolant hose off the ISCV down the head. A MAJOR pain in the ass to replace.

Never mind, I went to page one and saw it. Was it cold outside? Who put the head on and how long has it been since the head gasket was replaced? did you get the head machined? Blocked decked? Did you torque the head correct of you did it?
Is burning coolant, if it smokes right off the bat then its your valve stem seals also.
