Ok, I was putting in a new alternator today and found this plug unconnected and have no clue where it goes the wire goes back behind the intake manifold. Any ideas would be great.

could you give me any clues where that is, I know where the fpr is but I don't see any open connections around it
The vsv is under the intake manifold (there are two of them). Good luck getting to it if the engine is in the car.
its a vsv, its ugly with two nipples and a filter on it. there is two underneath the intake mani one for egr and one for fp. it increases fp at startup i belive. makes it easier a start up. people have run for years with out either of em. hope that helps
