Hey everyone just wanting to know what everyone has to say about this university.... i just got back yesterday from a tour... i really liked it but the dorms seemed really small for six students... i met two guys out there with MK3s .... a flat black one with a 2j swap and 6spd and a guy from Florida with a 88 white NA.... he also said there were 2 MK4s in the area.. i saw the black one... so let me know what you think... ive been accepted i just have to make a decision if i want to go there.

There are more out there than just those 2! Lol... one of them is running around with my engine in it.

I am a graduate from that school and it looks really good on paper. If you are in to circle racing... I would say go for it, but if you are looking to get into a more up to date curriculum... I would take your money somewhere else.

The faculty is cool as hell... of course you have a few instructors who are a bit off, but that is anywhere...

What are you looking to get there as far as degree... being alumni I could tell ya a few things.

The high performance building.. is top of the line no doubt. IMO they didn't build it big enough because from what I have heard they are already running out of room. BUT the engine and chassis dynos that they have there to offer... extremely cool. Having experience on the dynos - very nice to have... the only complaint on that is the fact that it is hard to get an instructor to let you use it!!

The school has Jegs Engine Masters use their facility to hold the competition... which is an AWESOME experience if you can wiggle your way in to help out... you can end up talking to some of the big shot engine builders, who you can learn a lot from.

I don't know of any other school that offers the high performance degree... so in that sense... you are kinda stuck on UNOH!

As far as dorms, forget about it, get a place off campus. It is pretty cheap to find a good place... and you will have friends at the end of the first 6 weeks... I know a few students who currently use this forum... so you can ask around as far as places to find a good apartment.
