I'm getting ready to purchase a universal intercooler piping kit (2.5") from eBay (or a SM vendor, if possible). I have done some reading on the process, but there are a few kits to choose from.
I'd like to hear some feedback from people who have been through this. Clearly, I will opt for t-bolt clamps and 3-ply silicon couplers, but some kits come with 180degree bends, some don't.
i.e. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CXRa...230169585QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250230169585)

What kit did you buy and how did it work out?
Can the plastic going through the fender-well be avoided to make the piping all aluminum?
Were any additional couplers needed to get it done right?
Any feedback is appreciated.
