they came by last week and seal coated the street i reside on:icon_bigg
but they failed to fill about 30 potholes including 2 at the end of my driveway before seal coating. :icon_mad: then this week everybody on the street recieved a bill for about 60$ for the seal coating job.

we have a neighborhood meeting on friday with the city engineer and the mayor...this is gonna be interesting to hear their explanation of the shoddy work

oh i dont mind paying to have a nice street to drive on, but putting a finish coat on shit is just stupid. all you end up with is good looking shit!. il try to get a pict tommorow, cant find my camera right now

that is how it is supposed to work, the property owners along the road are responsible for the upkeep. it goes along with owning property. im not complaining about that. my gripe is why should i pay for substandard repairs done by the city. i wouldent pay a private firm for shit like this, id make sure it was done correctly first.:naughty:

well, the city has decided to remove the special tax(for now). they informed us tonight that they were also dissatified with the contractor's work, so next summer they are gonna strip the 5 mile section and re-asphalt the whole works. i can only guess who will foot that bill.
