so, i've been around a bit and finally got some pictures of my build.

started off with an 89 turbo targa with an auto. had been sitting in some shop in pompano with a spun bearing. i already had a 7mgte waiting to go into my cressida, so a short tow later and i was an official supra owner. it had an immaculate interior and supposedly only 26k miles, keep in mind this was in 1996. while i was away at college, it got broken into 3 times, interior parts were either stolen or destroyed, molding parts were ripped off, as well as both mirrors, the computer, afm, all the custom painted parts on the engine, and my mint cluster.

so eventually i got all the exterior damage repaired. this is it currently

the car has been sitting for about 10 years in my dads garage taunting me, so last year i decided to get it on the road.
status as of right now:
-jdm 7mgte balanced with shotpeened rods, new pistons, 5 angle valve job, o-ringed block (engine prep done by Revenge Power)
-tein flex coilovers
-tanabe swaybars
-85mm 5zigen exhaust
-hks downpipe
-clean dash (thanx KevinM)

awaiting install:
-gt35r, tubular manifold, mdc t3/t4 adapter
-3.5 inch downpipe
-tial 44mm wastegate
-hpfreaks 3.5in goliath exhaust
-shine auto 2-hole lip
-sds efi

still need to fix/buy:
- BRAKES
-wiring (it never ends)
-steering rack
-tires

What HG are you going to use with the O-ringed block? I thought about going with O-rings and using the SCE copper gasket for the 7m, but ended up going with an HKS stopper instead.

Good Luck with the build! It's good to see nice clean white ones being done up right.

Looks like another nice clean white MKIII...off to a good start. :bigthumb:

I think that's actually the first cracked MKIII dash I've ever seen.

I've replaced mine already and now the one I replaced it with is cracked............:3d_frown:

Really good looking car. Keep the pictures coming................

i'm pretty sure its the sce copper. i had left the block without the head on it to go back to school and when i came back a few months later my father had already put the engine in the car. my dad rocks!

Will you be keeping interior stock?

for the most part, not really. everything from the front seats back has been gutted. i'm gonna put back the panels and make a cover for where the back seats used to be so i can have a sub and amp, but keep it removable. my seats were ruined by theives so i'm getting some corbeau's. other than that and a headunit it'll be stock till i put in a cage.

disaster has struck. went to fit my front lip, and noticed the stock lip didn't look quite right. as i started pullin the bracket, it was looking like whoever havd the car previously ran something over. the brackets are wrecked, there were zipties and makeshift washers holding all the assemblies together. i wonder if the brackets are available from toyota still
