This is kind of a stupid question. Is there any turbos that are louder than others?

Yes, some make more noise, but its really hit or miss, The bigger turbos make
more of a hissing sound. But sometimes there are two identical turbos and one
will make noise one wont, its strange.

i'll give a stupid answer then. fish.

no really, so many factors. size of the turbo, how much boost, exh setup, intake setup, etc.

anti surge housings do make a bit more noise tho due to design. please buy a turbo for the car and not the noise tho. anti surge housings on a turbo that doesnt need it actually costs hp.

I was going to try to get the best of both worlds. I'm not going to buy a crap turbo just because I like the way that it sounds like a jet. However, I'd like to have a good one that has a good sound. I'm just infactuated with the turbo whistle.
