Hey guys I need you advice, I have two ct-26 turbos. One is old and leaking out the seals the other is a 10-12k mile rebuild. The rebuilt one has two slighty chipped comp/fins. I would like to put the re built one on car today so I dont have such a mess, and its an up graded turbo, not much but better then stock. Will the chipped fins cause a un blanced turbo? If two are chipped do'es this change the sound of the turbo alot?

how did they get chipped after a rebuild ?_? and why on earth would you care if its chipped fins change the sound? i would tend to think that if theyre chipped then they must have been abused :D. Personally, the next time my turbo goes its gonna get upgradred to maybe a 60 trim. so my advice is to slap it on, get the other upgraded and ride this oen until it dies.

I think it got chipped because I had old acc tube and it was cracked

Dont think it will be a problem, but I know the turbo that is not on the car, when It sucks air it makes a lot of noise so thats why I asked .

See Iam thinking that I dont want to mess with the ct-26 any more so if I dont have to spend on fixing another ct and i can use what I have I will start shoping around
