Hey guys, I got a Q and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I bought a turbo timer from ebay, no it's no name brand. the problem is it didn't come with installation instructions. does any one have any generic instructions that I might be able to apply. I took it to a couple of mechanics and none of them could help me. preciate any help you can provide. I have an 87 turbo. if that helps.

the HKS one I have has a harness that plugs into either side of the ignition wiring coming off of the lock cylinder. To get to it I had to take off the steering column pieces and center console. Don't know if yours is a plug-and-play unit though.

Did it come with a harness?
Or just loose wires and you get to do all the fun wiring?
I got a Greddy, with harness...just plugs right into the ignition wires under your steering column. without the harness you have to splice into those wires (Read-Not fun)

alright, it has this brown wire and black wire, which I am guessing hook up to the ignition, and then it has this three pronged harness, which I am guessing is for power. I though I had it all figured out but then I saw this third red wire that isn't even attached to the darn thing at all. I'll try to get a pic and paste it on here.

i believe brown is for parking break
black is ground
red is 12v power
the harness is most likely plug and play to the ignition...take a pic and we can tell you
