turbo timer help.hooking one up

i need to know how to hook up a turbo timer on my 88supra.its a hks turbo timer.someone said that i dont need it .but it cant hurt to hook up right.

Harness would be best. I have a greddy one and just took a test light to the igniton wires and turned the key to check which wires are which (12v constant, acc, ign.). If you hook it up and it doesn't work you are connected to the wrong ign. wire. There are 2 ign. wires and only one of them will work you timer. Hope this helps

Absolutely, get the harness!

Note the tip in isnms's link, about disconnecting the acc line (blue).
