What is ment when the A/R is mentioned?

What exactly does a "50", "62" trim denote?

I have the balls to ask. Im still unclear but have the base idea.

AR is the relation between the Nozzle and the Wheel

Trim is another way of expressing the relationship between the inducer/exducer.

I wrote a thread about it awhile back.
