My question is if I have a T61 pushing 10 PSI vs a T4 pushing 15 PSI both making the same output HP (the T61 has more airflow at lower boost pressure) would there be the same chance of engine knock or would the more boost pressure run a higher risk of knock even though the output hp would be the same?

The 10psi would create less a chance of knock because of the intake air charge would be colder (in theory) than the turbo making the same HP at 15psi.

A rise in pressure comes with a rise in temperature.
