Hey all! Was finishing up the car recently took it out and drove it a bit. Car Idles great Drives great No miss no sputter. Now this is the first turbo vehicle I have owned but seems kinda odd when I get into the accelerator the car accelerates great really gutsy but when the turbo spools and the gauge starts to climb the car revs louder like its suppose to but it almost seems like the acceleration drops off and its just plateaus. I cant imagine this being normal but like I said never owned one. it holds the RPM correctly after the shift just has an odd level out when it should continue climbing speed.

has anyone experienced such issues? I tried searching some of the forums but couldn't locate any thread.

Alrighty, It may be Saturday when posted. Not sure If I can get to the car early enough tonight.

EDIT:
I forgot to add yesterday I know stock gauges are finiky but running the standard CT26 I changed the boost controller to 11psi Wen it spools it the gauge zips to about 7 PSI then stops.

I was mowing this over before bed. Is it possible an exhaust leak or crack in the turbo manifold would cause the symptoms?

Yes but the code is for the knock sensors. circuit open I don't have them hooked up. they wont reach I think previous owner re did the harness but those came out to short. I even re ran the entire harness and I was flabbergasted at their length.
But nothing other than that code.
It is very odd tho you would think it would register that immediately. the CEL comes on after accelerating and is always off when turning the car off then on.
But any time the diagnostic is jumped only shows the 52
I have the Stock by pass valve when i had it off I couldn't blow through it any direction that being said Is it possible it may be failing around the 7 psi mark? it does kinda loud woosh when it hits that spot.
I'm rambling but yeah the car is really ready to go but as soon as about 6 or 7 psi wooosh and just hangs there like it wants to keep zipping up rpm but just chills

Umm, yeah. A code 52 is the performance killer code. You might have wanted to mention that. Get it fixed, your car will perform much better. The code trips when the ecu listens for specific engine sounds and does not find them, which is why it doesn't trip until you get some load on the engine.

No to be honest I just didn't realize the implication of those plugs. I read up on what they did but didn't see or over looked that they put the car in that kind of state ( ´_ゝ`)

I did finish rerunning those lines into the harness to lengthen them. Car runs like a Beast now.
