Pm Albert or looks for his section.

Any boost controller will do. Cheap mbc's off eBay I would stay away from tho. And generally eBay itself unless its genuine.

4 inch is too big for a ct.

Use a full 3in from turbo back including elbow.

As for muffler anything you want.

Nur spec is loud and the Apexi n1 is a tad loud but sounds good.

No, the advantage to an EBC is it can delay ANY pressure getting to the actuator until it's time to open so you get much improved Turbo response, The actuator will creep even at 1>2psi and bleed a little as the valve unseats when using an MBC.

so its basically like tricking the computer sytem and/or wastegate? im new to this lol
No not at all, The EBC actually lets you control the flow of pressure to the actuator, what happens with the standard system is boost pressure from the Turbo finds it's way down the hose to the actuator, it has a spring that opens at a set pressure, say 6psi, as the boost rises in the turbo the actuator can "see" 1psi and begins to open unseating the control flapper valve, you in turn feel this as "lag".

An EBD places an electronic valve in the boost line so when you tell it I want 9psi it lets nothing through until 9psi is reached improving response from the turbo/less lag.

There is how ever a limit when using an internal Gated turbo like a CT26, the exhaust pressure car and does blow the flapper valve off it's seat, with an external WG you can bleed some pressure to the backside of the WG spring/diaphram to assist the spring in holding the boost.

I like my GReddy Profec B Spec 2. It does things a little different than what you are thinking in your head, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work right. You don't pick a psi, and go. You set duty cycle, and fine tune the variable with it. It isn't actually hard to do, just different. And PSI is missing a decimal point. For example, 132 on the display for psi is 13.2. Otherwise you have kilo pascals, or kPa on the display.
