Im in the middle of putting my engine bay back together, does the turbo pressure do anything other than send a signal to the stock boost guage?Im trying to clean up the engine bay a bit everything that does not need to be there is going.
Thanks

Its probably sending a signal to the ecu telling it how much boost is being built up...

seriously, dont post if you DONT KNOW!

misinformation is the killer of all internet forums. do you want to kill supramania?

there should be a new rule, if a user posts something completely incorrect 3 times he should be set to read only.

so in other words if you have an after market gauge you don't need the sensor???

yeah but then youll have a non functioning guage in your cluster. you can replace the stock boost gauge with the volt meter from an NA cluster.

thats what i am doing. installed aftermarket boost gauge (stock on is slow), removed the sensor for the stock gauge and am gonna install a stock voltmeter from an NA Supra.
