Alright you guys, so heres the problem:I want to go Turbo lol but I have 2 ways of doing it:
1. Swap my engine for a turbo, I know a place that says they can do it for around 2600 engine included
or
2. Buy a second supra, turbo and targa top and give the first one to my gf but until I find that heaven filled second supra *they are hard to track in this part of cali* just have fun with the NA
or
3. Just mess witht his car and wait for BHG or Rodknock then do the swap

The thing with doing the swap is that the Supra only has 69k miles original so I just kind of feel like Im gutting a perfectly good car you know what I mean? Like is a rebuilt turbo engine really worth trading a 69k mile engine? Especially if there is alot of maintenance required for the turbo engine? So should i just wait till I track down my dream supra and stick with this one? of course I will still mod it just for fun to quench my thirst lol.

I would agree with MDC...doing an NA-T conversion is a lot less work than a full engine swap. If you want you can go and buy another car, but it's really up to you. I like getting my hands dirty too, so I don't mind doing the work.

for me its like, its reliable, only 69k miles....do I really want to jinx it lol, but from what i hear turboing a NA is more hell in the long run? Honestly I don't have the space or feel i have the skills yett o attempt a swap *expecially being as this is my only car* so for me its like, pay someone to do the swap and hope it doesnt crap out or just keep it like this, maintenance free haha but also just curious, so rebuild is like practically "2nd hand new"?

^umm who told you this?

This isn't a honda motor.

Is the car 5 speed or automatic?

If you can find a motor; I can do the swap and have few parts such as the intercooler and almost all the piping laying around. It'll probably have 1 week of down time.

If you need references; PM MK3Runner, ASK92, or Wolfy. :)

I'm pretty reasonable pricing wise as i know what needs to be done and where.

I can tell you one thing; if i do the swap everything will work, and i have very good attention to detail and will tell you the truth if something needs to be done.

I also know a guy selling a freshly rebuilt motor for a decent price.

PM Me if you're serious; i'll give you my number and let you know what has to be done.
