Long story short; rebuilding GE, machinist says blocked cracked. Machinist has GTE block in stock, he makes sure it's eligible, it is. I buy block. Fast forward, engine is almost assembled.

I just want to know any suggestions to block off turbo oil drain back port? GE block doesn't have that port.

First thought is buy an oil drain flange with AN -10 fitting and just cap it off with flare cap AN -10. I do not plan on adding turbocharger, not even down the road. Just a cruiser at this point.

If you still have your old block, borrow the block off plate that's under the oil filter. Test fit the one you have that I saw in your other posting. Otherwise, you should be able to cook up a block off plate cutting one from aluminum. Make a paper template that fits or get the gasket (15473-41010) that goes with this connection. The 2 nuts are 90179-08012. You can seal it using Permatex ultra-black silicone. It's extremely oil resistant and is my go to sealant. Walmart has the cheapest price. Product number is: 75190. It's the same formulation as the more expensive 82180. I found this out after calling Permatex. Evidently, 75190 is only sold at Walmart like a house brand.
