I heard that the "T" series model turbo and the new "GT" style turbos are awesome for most applications... But which one spools Quicker?? Is there a such thing or does it depend on which A/R your running? Is it true that the GT model turbos have less parts in them, then the regular T series?
Basically I'm looking for the a turbo around a grand (CHEAPER the better) but since its going to be an endless project I could fork out the cash slowly.. So I'm looking at the SoundPerformance T67, PT67, or the GT40's......

All of that info is found in the tech info section at Garrett's website. GT is shortened form of NGT, which is New Garrett Technology. Yes the compressor moves more air a lower compressor speed. And yes, area to radius will still control the speed at which the turbocharger responds.

"Chepaer the better".... Use an eBay one, $200-$400. They have been working good for most people that are using them.
