Turbo manifold thoughts.

99% sure that Im going GT35R
Id like a SS321 manifold but the ones that I have found has the exhaust split up 1-3 4-6. The exhaust housing on the GT35 is a T4 undevided.
Does this matter? Heard that you shouldnt do the opposite because the separating wall in the exhaust housing gets so damn hot it can crack.

There are a few manifolds on ebay but who should I buy from? Maybe you can give me a name with good rep. (That ships to europe)

Also my friend is looking for a mani for his 2J GTE. A divided one, seems hard to find. Need help with this too.

All of the ebay manifolds even from different seller are the same thing.

Ran my SSAC with an open 3540r and it was fine Fredde.
(you'll need a spacer so the Comp cover doesn't his the runners)

Undivided manifold with divided turbo = not ok

That manifold requires relocation of the charcoal canister to install an external wastegate...not a big deal. I'm also pretty sure you can't use the stock oil return on the block...the manifold tubing is in the way. Welding a -10 AN bung on the pan will fix that.

IIRC he addressed that with a newer design. Some guys on sf's got the newer designed one and have yet to report any negative feedback.

Ahhh...thanks for that Justin. I'm considering getting one of these. Is the wastegate still in the same place as the pic?

yes from what I understand it's in the same place. he just revised the oil return line to work so people wont have to tap the pan. Spoolint78 has one if my memory serves me right.

Nice.. It's hard to beleive that only a few years ago you could't even get a manifold by its self for under $600.

I've got that manifold but have yet to mount it up. Bought it about 6 weeks ago. I knew about the return line and planned on tapping the pan but I'm not sure if I got one of the "new designs". This is the first I heard of that.

Yes he made about 3 different batches to get it right. the newest batch is suppose to clear the filter housing and use stock return line.

it has bars welded from the turbo flange to head flange so its braced. It started life out as a 1j/2j manifold design. I would like someone to chime in with a current purchase and fitting. I need to get back in touch with zoon and see how he's been.

Mines got the plates welded to the turbo flange, any differences in the runners style to tell which version I have? Engine's at the machine shop and I have nothing to referance from. And Zoon isn't the greatest at returning e-mails promptly.... or ever.
