I get some blue smoke while revving the engine during neutral/idling.
I am like WTF... I changed the valve stem seals 2 years ago.
I got a new IC (clean unit inside/free of oil contamination) , like 2K miles old...and my 6766 Precision turbo has only about 12k
miles, and 3 dyno pulls only, with occasional street fun and racing. On cold start ups I never see any blue smoke though...
Always hit on WOT after proper coolant / oil warm up / engine warm up.
I changed the PCV hoses with bigger diameter ones for better air flow (see picture),
checked the Greddy oil catch can (last time was checked and cleaned 6 years ago) and found a minimal amount of oil,
and took the turbo intake pipe off and saw a small spot of oil on the turbo compressor housing! As you can see the amount of oil is not a big deal...
Turbo boosts properly and I get steady boost, and I checked the oil level stick which is good.
And the turbo feed line (.4" hose) is dead on 12" o'clock and drain line (.10" hose) 6' o'clock as
Precision indicates for proper installation. No oil restrictor on the feed line.
Could it be the turbo going on me ? :-\
What's your opinion guys....
