Ok I have a ETS intercooler kit, but it still uses the stock 'Turbo cast Elbow'.
I went NA-T and have never even seen this elbow. I made a solid peice out of 1 7/8"(which is the CT-26 outlet size i think) but had to use crush bends, it works but...

has anyone got a nice single peice the've use?? Or there solution.thanks, and pics if anyone know what i'm talking about.

i'm pretty sure its that one, but like i said, my supra is the only one i've looked at underther hood.

is the stock one good for moderate mods with abbout 13psi? is it free flowing maybe i'll just get a ussed stocker.

is there afterarket ones to replace the stocker???

are you referring to the pipe on the inside of the fender? that will definitely flow 13psi.

or are you talking about the turbo elbow....if this they suck get a bic downpipe

im not quite following exactly what you referring to.

the pipe beside the lower rad hose. my intercooler kit had all new pipes including '3000'pipe, but not the one from the turbo to intercooler.(well most of it anyways) i need the elbow to turbo. hope that helps.

ok i gotcha now...unless you wanna replace that whole setup from turbo to intercooler leave...it will handle 13 psi if your goals get more ambitious ditch it.

and you need to purchase that elbow. ill look in my garage tonight. i believe from parting out i ended up with an extra one.

Oh, that horrible cast elbow that's a major restriction? ETS kit should have had a pipe to replace all of that...

yah it is cast aluminum right? and nope, i was a bit po'd that i bought that kit cause i thought it was 100% nope it litterly ends at that elbow, instructions said i had to unbolt it and spin it or somthing, but not having one(and the other one or two? pipes to the turbo), it went custom from there.
But the peice I have in there now is maybe worse than the stock, still pulls good but I want to do it right, then build some caps and pressure test from TB to Turbo inlet to 20psi, and be done worring about that.
So what are the soloutions?

Do you know some one that can weld aluminum? What you can do is buy a U pipe for about $25 then cut it into thirds where you have 1 90 and 2 45's then position it once they are cut to fit up to the pipe off the ETS kit. That is what I had to do for mine.

Or you can just buy 2 45* pipes and cut them to fit up and then take them to some one to weld them together or just put a coupler on them. You will need a 2-2.5" coupler off the turbo for the pipe.

that sounds good, i guess i'll fab her up myself(with patience lol)..i was just hoping i could by a replacement.

so you went that route because that stock elbow is restrictive??

I like the look of this, ALOT. Any input please.

Anyone used this pipe before?? Is this a reliable site?

Seriously, go buy 2 45* 2.5" pipes and cut them, they are aluminum so they cut like butter with saw. Buy the reducer coupler for the turbo and one other coupler if you don't want to have it welded. It would take you a whole 30 minutes to do it. I'll even PM you my number if you want step by step help.

That pipe is hella expensive for what you get. Just spend the $60 on what I told you to buy and be done!

true...but i know that by the time I f around and fit it, then go and get it welded and put back together, it'll be half a day. I also gotta change my cams/valvle covers and throttle linkage, and install a short shifter. then tune haha. 2 weeks dont last long:cry: its worth 60 bucks to me.

thanks for the help though

i did think there would be many of these pipes

EDIT: i do find the "2 psi increase in boost pressure" a bit of crock though.
