Turbo Gauge not working...

:cry: Started up today and noticed my turbo gauge was dead.. The car runs fine, its a Greedy gauge (electronic I think) I pulled it out there is a wide wire attached. Is there an easy way to test to see what might be wrong?? I am not an expert at these engins but I am learning. I can build an old 60's chevy engine with my eyes closed. Turbos are new to me.

Make sure its boost signal hose is still attached (vacuum hose to manifold)

Oh.. I need to add. When I turn the key on the red light usually lights up for a sec. before I start it. It does not do that anymore. I hope the gauge is not burned out they are $$$.

have you tried tapping on the face of the guage like the old plane movies when they run out of gas?

Ha! Funny thats the first thing I did.. :icon_bigg :icon_bigg Did not work tho.. hehe..

Yup All connectors are connected.. there is no change in the car, just the dead gauge.. :dunno:

Sounds like it's not getting power...check both the pos lead and ground to the guage. If it's fused, (to state the obvious) check that too.

Well the darn thing just started working again today?? I dont get it..

I am shure its an electrical problem. It worked for a day then went dead again.

Could be a bad ground or the sensor is going bad.

Found it today.. Loose power wire behind the dash... I must have gotten it loose when I installed the new radio...
