I recently bought a complete Greddy T67 kit for the 7M from Maeso. I have the manifold, DP, oil lines, accordion hose, etc. The kit is nice but I am struggling to understand the turbo lingo and would like help in deciphering the information I have gathered on the web.
This is what I have found thus far on the turbo:
Greddy T67-25G
TD06 hot side, TD07 cold side
Comp Inducer - 2.381"
Comp Exducer - 3.070
Turbine Minor - 2.130"
Turbine Major - 2.402"
What I need to know is if I am the proud owner of a dyno queen lag monster or a decent street-able turbo???
My goals are a reliable DD in the 450-475 rwhp range. I have not installed the kit because I am going to rebuild the motor sometime this summer. Based on my goals, should I keep this turbo or sell it for a smaller one. I was told that Greddy's numbers don't coincide with other companies and this turbo would be comparable with say a SP58. Is this true or false? Where should I expect this turbo to spool at?
