I just got my 60-1 turbo, hopefully it is 60-1 since I don't know how to confirm it. Where do you buy the gasket that you need to replace when you remove the turbo? I tried looking at kragen and autozone and they both don't carry any. Dealer probably has them but i am thinking it gona cost too much.

I have some high temp gasket silicon that I am using to rebuilt two tranny and an engine with my bro. Hopefully it work out. If not I'll try and look for the copper spray and use that and see.

I forgot to ask, where would you buy the copper spray from, any auto store? The high temp silicon gasket stuff is only up to 600F and the temp from the exhaust is like what, 1000F?

of course there is always PLENTY of time to do it right a second, third, fourth etc time un less you die. Then. You should have done it right the first time and enjoyed the car without worry ;)

My bro has this metal gasket filler that is in semi solid state, it's still in a clay state that can be mold and become hard metal after it's melted by the heat from the exhaust. But I alread went ahead and ordered a gasket kit from Jay marks toyota so I'll have everything done next week hopefully.
