Which turbo do you recommend to about 400/450 horsepower in a 1jz?

Is 440cc injectors, new fuel pump, and a fuel computer enough? Or do I need larger stuffs?

TO4E 50 trim? I would go with 550cc injectors 440's will maybe just be big enough but 550's would be a better choice

I just got a CT-26 off a 7MGTE and plan on sending it to driftmotion to rebuild and upgrade to a 57 trim... That should get you in that ballpark. Of course you need the other supporting mods.
550 CC injectors would be a great choice as supraracer49 suggested.

ya, the exhaust side of a CT-26 is too small to really breathe over 6K on a 7M, let alone going over 7K on the 1J

stick with turbos around the size that tissimo said, those will get you up there

^what they said, T61/T04S/60-1 FTW. Get an a/r of .70 or so to spoolup early as well, great street setup, you can find a Garrett T04S for $850 or so.

Our budget T61 turbo is hard to beat at under $600 for a brand new unit.

Provides 400 to the wheels, 1 year warranty, and while the spool won't win any awards, it does well.
