so i just bought a turbo blanket for my 92' supra but my turbo runs an internal wastegate. i have heard of people cutting slits in the blanket for the rod, anybody done this? pics? opinions? ideas?
If the Turbine housing expands the WG shaft get's loser...
I ran Ceramic Coated, header wrap and a blanket and never suffered any of this Mystery Oil baking and seal failure...
(seriously where do you pull this garbage from?)
They make blankets for IG Turbos that already have a cutout for the arm...
chads turbo got cooked from dei old school turbo bag from him wrapping the hole back side in coulding center section his was oil cooled t3/t4 60 of some sort 1.5jz
what now has a gt3582 if i remember right
I ran header wrap on my turbo and after some long twisting roads with heavy pull's the gate would stick open after awhile
this was on 57 ct26
