Is changing our standard gte throttle body with a Turbo A throttle body a direct swap? Is there any difference in power? I know that the Turbo A tb is bigger than the standard gte tb but is the difference one that can be noticed?

Thanks for the input guys,
Brandon

the neck down in the 3000 pipe is smaller, so the gains on a stock engine will be marginal at best...

Turbo-A had a 3000 pipe without a neck down, larger turbo, and more than likely larger intercooler pipes (to connect to the larger 3000 pipe)

with a larger turbo and intercooler pipes, you probably would see a gain...

The only reason I ask, is that there is one for sale in the For Sale section, and I was curious on whether or not it would be a worthy mod.

^^^Right, but I know that the price on a rare Turbo A throttle body couldnt be cheap, so Im determining if the price for horsepower would be worth it.

The TB itself isn't going to net you more power. It should result in an increase in responsiveness though. If you've got an upgraded turbo and piping you could see more power simply from relieving the bottleneck.
