This maybe a stupid question, but I'm asking it anyway. When should you be concerned with tuning your car? Well let me rephrase that. After what Mod should we be concerned about our richness or lack there of. After a turbo Upgrade? After producing more boost? Personally I'm trying to achieve 300 - 350hp at the crank, but to achieve that safely I know I will need a Turbo upgrade and all the basic beginner mods (Intake, Intercooler, Exhaust, EBC, Etc). The question then is do I need to tune my car after the basics mods?

To hit those horsepower numbers, you'll need to upgrade your afm and fuel injectors to eliminate(increase) your fuel cutoff. Usually done with the Lexus AFM mod or the MAFT. As soon as you extend your fuel cutoff...... thats when you'll want a professional tuner to get involved. You could upgrade your turbo before all this, but under full or possibly partial boost...... your old buddy the fuel cutoff will kick in, making the upgrade pointless.

300 HP at the crank is no problem boosting up to fuel cutoff using basic mods. The stock turbo will make it.
Once you go to the Lexas mod, you'll of course have to "tune" it.
