trying to track down a turn signal issue, and it's start to piss me off as I'm

contorted into unnatural positions underneath my steering column :yikes:

anyway, the scenario:

I removed my dash and disconnected a bunch of harness connections. after I put the dash back in, my turn signals don't work. The headlights turn on and off, along with high beams. I know I didn't connect one of the connections, but I cant seem to find it. Any suggestions?

Looking at the wiring diagram, I think if you short the two green/red wires on the emergency switch together, you could theoretically run without that switch in place and still have working turn signals. Only useful if you've lost or broken the switch, though...

it will either work, or pop a fuse. my dimmer switch shit the bed on me and i had no gauge lights and when i turned on my headlights the climate control would go out lol. took out the dimmer switch and just put the two white wires together! got everything back! and add me to the omgimanidiotiforgottopluginmyhazardswitch list. lol

It's the only two wires shorted when the switch is installed and in the off position, so I would assume shorting the two would have the same effect as having the switch in place. Here's the relevant wiring:
