Hey guys, I'm Justin, I used to have a 86.5 N/A 5 spd, but that was 7 years ago when i first got it at the age of 16. Had it for 2 years then it broke down, i went to jail, day i got out, the mall it broke down at, towed it >:-(
But now I'm ready to get another one. I found one on craigslist for $2,000 but I'm not sure if its worth it.

the only thing mechanically wrong with it is it has no fuel pressure, but besides that it has almost no interior from the back of the front seats to the tail lights.
So i might get this one instead

I have the s and love also hate the hks ssqv too many people have it and its sound gets annoying after a while. Plus a lot of my friends say it flutters with compressor surge when cruising.

Theres bov flutter turbo flutter and waste gate flutter.

Bov flutter with the valve opening and closing doesnt just give one big release which it should.

I to would go for the second one, just be sure to look at the first picture where it is looking at the rear, the car is not sitting level, probably an easy fix.

The chute chute chute is from external waste gates.

Bov sound is bov sound from high hp to low hp tho high hp with higher boost the sound has more to it so to say since there is a lot more pressure. You can youtube bov sounds.

Ive heard from a few friends that when cruising there hks flutters and that they dont like it and it sounds like compressor surge.

My greddy type s is on the loosest setting and when i left off it releases the air. If i let off at just the right time sometimes you can hear it venting for a good 10-15+sec which is just a little whistle not too loud. It also vents all the way down to idle and i never get stalling problems.
