Maybe this will help take the guess work out of it. I attached a .pdf that I drew of the tabs I had welded on my I/C. It attaches directly to the frame rails (the bolts that hold the bumper support), tucks up nicely underneath, leaves room for the A/C stuff & leaves room to put the 1J overflow bottle in the stock location. BTW, the dimensions are 24"x12"x4"....

It cleans up above & below the IC by not having brackets coming in from the top & bottom. Plus, it's stout as shit, no moving at all.

I'll call you in a few.....

That is a good looking/sounding install. Looks like you still had to trim the hood latch support bracket? If I was going turbo with my Supra I would need to ask you for more detailed pictures of the install.

I don't have the support in. I'm not saying that it won't fit, because I think it will, but I just haven't put it in yet.

As for the install, it couldn't be simpler. take off the two nuts that secure the bumper support, place the IC & put the nuts back on. Job done.

Did you get this intercooler from Aaron? I ordered one from him with new ic piping and I think it's the same size as what you have listed. What bov are you going to run? Thanks.

No, I bought mine off of the dreaded Ebay. It's a XSPower 24x12x4", which cost me something like $130 shipped:naughty: ! Nice unit.

As for the BOV, I have a genuine Tial BOV...

That xspower intercooler is awesome quality, and cheap. I took a chance on it and I was shocked. Running the same one on my car. Some of their stuff looks cheapo, these are nice, and I got it in like 2 days. Looks good Mark!!

I got mine from Aaron at a really good price. Do you know if my turbo xs bov will work on the 1jz? I don't know why it wouldn't, but I haven't seen my clip yet, so I don't know that much about the 1jz. I'm glad your posting your progress here as you go. It will hopefully make my swap go a little easier. I'll need all the help I can get.

Thanks!
