in the cold weather, i've been noticing that my car has trouble getting on. when it happens, it'll take one or two additional tries to get the car on (when i turn it on, the engine just sputters then dies)

my friend suggested it could be the cold start injector, i don't even know what this is or how to fix it, any suggestions?

if you go to a small mechanic shop in your town somewhere and ask them to check the resistance on the cold start injector, point it out to them and tell them it should be between 2 and 4 ohms, then they will likely do it for free as a favor to try and get future business from you. at least thats what i would do. the part in question is located on the intake manifold between the runners on the y-pipe on the very top of the engine. you can see that on the link that thechori sent you. good luck!
