TRD "Heavy Duty" shocks?

Does anyone have experience with these? I have 1 set (1 front, 1 rear) in stock and I'm about to buy them hahaha... but I'd like to know if anyone has experience with them. Especially since they've been sitting around for over 10 years in our storage warehouse.

I was aiming to get the Tein FLEX, but for the price I can get these for, I'm willing to get a normal coil/strut setup vs a "coilover" (yes yes, they are the same thing... but you knwo what I mean!!) if they are decent.

Currently, my car's on a stock suspension... from 89... all the shocks are blown to pieces ^_^

toyota's heavy dudty shock for the mk3 was the bisltein shock now i don' remmber if it had an ajusable perch for the spring they were found on the jdm 2.5 limted to the turbo a car


cause bilstai shock have life time warranty on after market shock not oem so this is why i am think it may not have ajustbale shock perch

When I get to work Tuesday, I'm going to take them out and test them. I'll let you know if I see any adjustability.

The dealership I work at has a set of these sitting around in the warehouse too. I don't have personal experience with these, but one of the older parts guys said he had a set on his MKIII for about 5 years before he sold it and he never had any problems out of them. The reason I never thought about buying them is because I think they are going to cost about $200 each even with my discount!! Now if I could get the front for $200 and the rear set for $200 it would be a steal.

idk if yer talking about the same ones as i have...but i have the trd tems compatible shocks made by kyb...heres some pics...

these were the same ones used on mattonedimes car..give it a nice look and feel on the road.
