I can not get this tranny off my 7mgte. We took all the tranny bolts off...it will spin around freely but its still connected to the output shaft of the motor somehow?

What else do i need to do to get it off. we tried prying it forever

There is a small pin you have to remove to get the clutch fork out. Do it now.

Take off the dust cover. Remove e clip. Remove pin. Remove fork. Remove tranny from engine.

dont need to remove anything but the inspection plate...

then you can just wiggle the clutch fork out. dont take out any clips or pins or anything...it will wiggle out with your hand...

Two ways.

Engine and trans out of car:

Remove the clutch fork by pulling or by taking the pin out if it will not just pull out.

Engine and trans in car:

Remove the bolts holding the pressure plate to the flyhweel. This gives you much much more room to work with to remove the trans. In my maroon car, I HAVE to do this to remove the trans, however in the parts car I got the trans out just by pulling the fork out.
