Well im interested in a non-running mk3 in AL that i'd like but annoyingly i am about 15 hours away from Alabama so i would need a transport to get the car back to Philly.

I would take a road trip down but with work i really can't get out of Philly for a while. Another issue is going down there and taking a look at the car in person which is also really hard to do because of work.

So now i'm looking for a reputable company that could transport the vehicle. I'd really like to get this but i've never had to go through this, so if anyone has some advice i would appreciate it.

Thanks,
-emp.

I had cars shipped both from Iowa, and Florida. Cost me about $700.00 each time (open trailer, closed will be near or over $1000) and I'm in CT. Get quotes from about eight different companies and make sure they have insurance. Then, it's as simple as coordinating a pick up time between the seller and the shipper. Make sure each party has everyone's correct information. I asked my sellers to take pics of the car being loaded on to the trailer when it was picked up. I forgot which companies I used, sorry. Oh, and you can either have a lot of trust in the seller to place the filled out title in the car, or ask him to fill out what he needs too and send it to you via certified mail. Personally, I wouldn't do anything until I had the title in my hands.

+1 Maybe ask or pay a member if they could do you the favor to check out the car in person.
