transmisson leak :-(

r154 seems to be leaking from the bottom of extension housing where it meets the intermediate plate. so either aerodynamics are sucking the fluid from the DS seal to the front of the extension housing or the extension housing is leaking. I vote rear seal to DS but i want to ask the professinals.

Usually the fluid will travel from front to back. If you get under the car and look at the output shaft seal you can see if it's leaking or not.

Could also be the abs sensor o ring if you have abs, the speedo o ring, or the shifter plate seal, or the case.

Ill brake parts clean it all Sunday and put the timken seal in the tail housing for the DS 2maro . While I was rolling around under the car I wiggled the DS (at the front yoke) up and down just a hair. Can there be a narrow amount of play in the output of trans or will this results in a poor seal for the DS yoke? Btw is the dust shield needed on a one piece? Mine has been cut to fit the yoke on trans side (1peice ds)

Used brake parts cleaner on all of transmission hoping to find the exact point of leakage lol while under the car a put a new output seal in. It had a ngk one and now it has a drive works or some autoparts BS seal. Hope it fixes problem
