Hi all!

A Nissan 350Z-Transmission in a Supra Mkiii with a 7MGTE. Is that possible? because i wanna 6Speed transmission how i can shift sequential with an ikeya-formula-sequential shifter. Because ikeya do not make sequential-shifters for the supra. Its very important, that i can shift sequential and i wanna have 6 Gears. And ithink, if its possible, its cheaper than buy a sequential transmission for 10000 bucks!
A 350Z-Trans is 1300$ used! And the seq-shifter another 1500$ thats way cheaper than a sequential-race-transmission!

you could always keep the r154 and find yourself a stillway sequential shifter for it. they're few and far between, but they do pop up every so often.

for a 6 speed nissan tranny, you'd probably be looking at a custom bellhousing, making sure the shifter lines up properly in the tranny tunnel, custom mounts, and deep pockets.

The stillway-shifter is not the solution i look for! Its not really a sequental shifting. I think the question is if the nissan-trans is not to high or somthing. Question: the braket from the engine to the tranny is there fluid inside or not? Can i weld a braket or must this bracket be completle closed (sorry i dont know the right word because im from switzerland)?

But anyway, how big the work wold be, i think its much cheaper than a race-trans.

I know HKS had a sequential transmission for the MkIV, but it was about $10,000. Generally, MkIII owners don't have deep enough pockets for a sequential setup, and the transmissions we have hold the power that most of us make. Why must your transmission be sequential? Why a MkIII?
