My wife's '89 has an auto transmission. We just dropped it and replaced the front and rear seals because it was leaking transmission fluid. While I had it down, we replaced the screen and gasket as well. It worked great for four days. Now it's slipping again, but the fluid is full. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know if the tranny is shot or not. It still runs good, but it stalls when you put it in gear and sometimes you can hear the motor rev up more than it should, cause it's slipping a little. What can we do to fix it? Thanks for any help you give.................lol

Im guessing one of the clutches is bad.
Most transmission shops will give a free inspection. Take it in, usually takes 2 days.
