What is it that I have to adjust on this?
My auto doesnt shift until almost redline when cold.... If I let off the gas it will shift but a hard pull will cause it to go redline and not shift unless you let off the gas pedal...

After I have been driving a while the car smooths out... (bear in mind the baby sat for a while as I was doing a LOT of repairs and upgrades)

I have a new ISC and the headgasket was replaced in December. Trans was flushed at the dealer in January also. Fresh Turbo and full dp 3' exhaust is on also... I dont have any boost higher than 7 pounds.

I just dont want to tear up my motor if I get into it from a dead stop....

I have a squishy brake that Im fixing tonight... <grumble>

Is your O/D light blinking on your Tach?

You can determine if it's an electrical problem or mechanical by doing a manual shift test. Here's how:

- Disconnect the ECT ECU (under the pass side trim panel)...make sur the ing key is off.
- Test drive...start L, shift to 2, shift to D...keep your RPM below 3000.
- If it doesn't shift, it's in the tranny...most likely a valve body problem or a solenoid. You could have crap in the solenoid valve from the flush...that will cause the problem even if the valve is working. If it does shift, it's the ECU, ECU circuit, throttle position cable, or a sensor. Some of the sensor input comes from the TCCS ECU.

:werd: I'm betting that one of two things have happened. Your solenoids have a bunch of crap in them or your solenoids have bad seals. Take them out, clean them, test them & replace the seals as required.

I had the same exact problem, worked like a charm.
