Me personally, I woulda pulled the motor/trans together, because I used to have this habit of "forgetting" the top 2 trans bolts... Get ya those little stubby ratchet wrenches like they sell at Autozone/Advance, and then get a socket, a swivel and an extension and put it on the "back" *tranny side* of the bolt and just use it to hold the bolt while U take it out with the stubby. It's not hard at all. Or, slap a wrench on the back, get you some extensions and an air ratchet and "extend" out past the AC compressor and give'er hell. The wrench should find somewhere to stop itself. :icon_bigg

HTH

Those ratchet wrenches kick ass, just don't take any top trans bolts out with them, that SUCKS :biglaugh:

loosen the motor mounts and put your support (are you using a lift?) under the crank to angle the motor downwards. itll give you enough room to get a clear shot at those bolts with an extension.

smmmmarttttt....

well id say pulling the motor even without a lift is a waste of time. however i do understand that you might rather do that extra work than be stuck under the car in front of your house..ive been there and its no fun at all.
