Tranny Question

Just wanted to know how much fluid you need to fill an auto transmission?
also does a manual transmisson has the same kind of dipstick as an auto?

Thers is no dipstick on a manuel tanny. As far as amount of fluid in an auto im not sure so just keep adding until you start regestering on the dipstick.

my bad i was just lazy I found out how many quarts yeah i kinda figured that about the dipstick. Damnit I got 2 auto trannys and no dipstick wtf?!?!
I gotta find out how to get ahold of one.......

also if you drain by the plug not all of it will drain out...so don't put what the book says in it. Get ahold of a dipstick and read it that way.
